Rebecca Harwerth Beste passed gently from this life December 20, 2011.  Becky was the beloved wife and lifetime love of Robert C. Beste; stepmother to Amy C. Barnhart; dear sister-in-law of Barbara Beste Esstman; sweet niece, aunt and cousin.  A graduate of Ascension grade school and Mercy High, she was a master hair stylist at James Pearson Salon in Clayton before her retirement and a long-time Guarantor of the Muny Opera.  She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Agnes Harwerth and will be buried with them at Calvary Cemetery.
