Several year back I developed an acute interest in Heraldry.  After collecting every bit of information I could find from the internet, I decided that the thing to do was to design a set of Arms similar to the Beste Family Arms from where my father's grandfather immigrated the Westphalia region of Germany.  Above is a stylized version of the subsequent Arms that were registered.

The above version is registered in the United States with the American College of Heraldry.  (No. 2195) It is described (Blazoned) as follows: Azure, three rose Argent barbed Vert, in chief a mullet of eight points Or pierced Tenne.  Above the Shield is placed a Helmet with a Mantling Azure doubled Argent, and on a Wreath Argent and Azure is set for Crest, between two wings conjoined Gules a mullet of eight points Or pierced Tenne, and in an Escrol below the Shield the Motto:  “With Truth And Science.”
